![]() Once I reached level 70 I started farming Blood Shards with my DH and gambling them on my new character for set items. Those last few levels took a bit longer, but I was having fun and forgot to keep track of how long it took. Then I added skills and bought some armor and knocked out another 15 or 20 levels in the next half hour. With just a bit of dodging and running away sometimes I was able to hit level 40 in about 5 or 10 minutes. Started my new character, equipped just those three pieces of gear, and I set the difficulty as high as it would go. Then I took a 3,000 damage level 70 weapon I had found with a socket and added the 3rd Gem of Ease to it. I chose a Leoric's Crown and Leoric's ring for the XP boosts. ![]() I leveled three Gems of Ease to level 25 with my DH and used two of them to make level 70 items level 1 for my new character. I started as a DH on Xbox and once I did my first level 100 GR I decided I wanted to play a second character just to try it out. Your non-season characters (if you already have some) are kept separate until the season ends. Only your seasonal characters can share gear during the season, blood shards, Paragon points, gold and crafting materials. ![]() There's really no reason not to play them as seasonal, especially since the season will be over in a few weeks and they will become non-seasonal after that anyway. That is a nice boost too.Īny paragon points you have earned on your current character will also be available to any other seasonal characters you create, though they can distribute the points differently, and from the beginning. You can also go to Squirt the Peddler in the Hidden Camp in Act 2 and pick up the jeweler recipe for the Hellfire ring (the 5 mil one not the 2 mil), which is a level 70 legendary ring that has no level requirement. You can also craft level specific gear for them, to give them a head start. So, if you have any legendary items that you got earlier in your playthrough, and are still hanging on to, you can give it to your new character when they reach the required level. That means that you can use any extra gear you have in your inventory, that is level appropriate, on that character. If you start your new character as seasonal, they will be able to share inventory with your current character. ![]() There is no reason to play non-seasonal other than to share inventory with other non-seasonal characters. ![]()
